
To win attention for our Comicide show (and our sponsors Talentcake) at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, we engaged in a guerilla marketing campaign.
500 police evidence bags (carrying a spoon a white powder) were dropped through the city - in shops, cafes, on park benches - directions were given on the back to report these bags if found to www.policeevidence.com.
When the people went to the site it was revealed as a stunt for our show, along the way we had reports in dozens of newspapers, phone calls from the police and a lot of fun.
